Statement Following Tragic Accident in Ward 11

Today is a difficult day for our community. We are heartbroken by the tragic loss of a young girl and are keeping those who remain in hospital in our thoughts following this horrific accident.

As a parent and former educator, I can’t begin to imagine the pain the affected families are experiencing. Our thoughts are with all those impacted during this incredibly difficult time, and I ask that we respect their privacy as they grieve.
