Full Closure from June 9 to Late December 2025
Our office has just received this update from the City of Hamilton:
Residents and motorists are advised that Harrison Road, between Hall Road and Kirk Road, will be fully closed starting Monday, June 9, through to late December 2025 to allow for the full replacement of Bridge 404.
This work is part of a significant infrastructure upgrade aimed at ensuring the long-term safety and reliability of our road and bridge network. A signed detour will be in place for the duration of the closure.
Local Access and Services
Access for local traffic, emergency services, and waste collection will be maintained throughout the project. However, please note that the following local destinations will only be accessible via Hall Road:
Binbrook Conservation Area
Wildcreek Farm
MiKel’s Lavender Oasis
We understand that road closures are inconvenient and appreciate your patience and cooperation as we complete this essential work. These upgrades will help improve traffic flow and infrastructure reliability for years to come.
Safety Reminder
Motorists are asked to:
Follow posted detour signage
Plan ahead and allow extra travel time
Exercise extra caution near construction zones
